Sukoshi Ryu Karate Club
Our club has been established now for almost 15 years. We have around 90 students, aged from just 5 years to adult. Our classes are split into 3 age groups, 5 - 7 years, 8 - 12 years and 13 years and above. We have clubs at Kimberworth Park, Rawmarsh and Thrybergh.
Sukoshi Ryu follows a traditional Wado-Ryu syllabus featuring 3 aspects of Karate, Kihon, Kata and Kumite - the three Ks

Members Service
We have a child protection policy and a constitution within the club. All our Instructors are Police checked. There is always a qualified first aid person at each training session. The club has a good insurance policy. Private lessons are available on request

To improve their fitness levels, self control self discipline, and to help them improve themselves both mentally and physically.
To learn Etiquette in the Dojo. How to do punches, kicks and different Kata`s from white belt to black belt.
Dojo Etiquette
On entering and leaving the Dojo all Karate students must bow with confidence.Karate gi should be cleaned and ironed.Finger and toe nails should be kept clean and short. Jewellery must not be worn when training. Always pay attention to the instructors and attempt to follow their instructions to the best of your ability. Any member found using Karate for personal gain or bullying will have his or her membership terminated.
